A Great Place To Be
Welcome to the new school year at Jourdanton High School. I became principal of Jourdanton High School in 1997. My four children graduated from Jourdanton High School and went on to graduate from colleges around the state. Jennifer and I now have seven grandchildren that keep us busy during theyear. Moving to Jourdanton was perfect for our family. We have another great lineup of teachers and staff to help teach, lead and guide your child to a successful year. Jourdanton High School will seeseveral changes this year as we move into our new CTE building, our new field house and our renovated gym and band hall. We should be in each of these buildings by the end of September. Our Dual Credit credit classes are full, as our students continue to strive to earn college credits. Our students can earn up to 38 hours of college credit through courses offered by Palo Alto College. We continue to add classes to our curriculum to help meet the needs of our students. Jourdanton High School is a great place to be! We strive to provide an atmosphere that allows are students to learn, to socialize and to continue their path towards their dreams. We are fortunate that are staff has very little turnover. We have a new Spanish I teacher, Gabrille Garcia and Karen Pesek has moved over from the elementary to teach our Family Consumer Science classes. We look forward to another great year at Jourdanton High School.
